Effective date: 1 November 2026
This Policy explains how to report copyright infringement, inaccurate or unlawful material, privacy or personal-safety concerns, and other content issues on the website and services operated by The Wedding Planning Corporation (TWPC), 16192 Coastal Hwy, Lewes, Delaware 19958, United States (correspondence address). It also explains review procedures. Reports are free. You do not need a vendor subscription or an account to raise a content complaint.
1 How to contact us
General content complaints, corrections, impersonation reports, and safety concerns: info@theweddingplanningco.com. Please include the exact page or image URL, a clear description of the concern, relevant supporting information, your preferred outcome, and contact information for our response. If you act for another person or a rights holder, explain your authority. Supply only the personal information reasonably needed to assess the report.
Copyright notices and counter-notices should be sent to the designated DMCA agent identified in Section 5. Privacy-rights requests may also be submitted through the methods in our Privacy Policy. For subscription billing, cancellation, or refund issues, use the support contact and cancellation methods in our Vendor Subscription Terms. A billing complaint does not substitute for cancellation; we will direct a misrouted cancellation request to the appropriate team and handle it under those Terms and applicable law.
For a credible, immediate threat to personal safety, contact the appropriate emergency service or law-enforcement authority as well as notifying us. We are not an emergency response service. Do not upload or email unlawful sexual images of children or other prohibited material as evidence; identify its location and nature instead.
2 General content review
We review reports in light of the available facts, our published terms, the affected rights, and applicable law. We may request clarification, seek a response from the person who supplied the material, temporarily restrict access, correct a credit or statement, remove particular material, decline a requested action, or take other proportionate steps. Where a report concerns vendor profile material, we may ask the vendor for the permission evidence described in Section 11 of our Vendor Subscription Terms and restrict the material until it is provided. We may preserve limited records needed for compliance, security, or legal claims.
Where we have valid contact details, we will acknowledge and respond as appropriate to the report and any applicable legal deadline. Urgent rights or safety concerns may require action before all parties respond. We may provide reasons for a decision, subject to legal restrictions, confidentiality, privacy, safety, and fraud-prevention considerations. A restriction or removal is not an admission of liability or a determination of a third party’s legal rights.
Editorial discretion remains subject to applicable law. No provision of this Policy prevents a person from seeking a court order, making a regulatory complaint, exercising a statutory right, or using another available remedy. We do not require you to complete our internal process before exercising a right that may legally be exercised directly.
3 Corrections privacy and vendor complaints
For a factual correction, identify the precise wording or credit, explain the error, and provide reliable supporting material. For an alleged defamatory statement, identify the specific statement, whom it concerns, why you contend it is materially false and unlawful, and the relevant context. Disagreement with an opinion or an unfavorable statement does not, without more, establish defamation; we assess the substance and applicable law.
For privacy, publicity, impersonation, or personal-safety concerns, identify the affected material and whether you are the affected person, a parent or guardian, or an authorized representative. Explain the concern without sending unnecessary sensitive information. A person does not have to own an image’s copyright to raise a valid concern about its use of their personal information or likeness. Statutory privacy requests are handled under our Privacy Policy, including applicable verification, response, and appeal procedures.
TWPC operates a vendor directory and editorial platform. It does not provide a vendor booking facility or process payments for wedding services. A dispute with an independent vendor should ordinarily also be raised directly with that vendor. Nevertheless, we accept reports of materially inaccurate listings, impersonation, fraud, unlawful conduct, and breaches of our platform terms and may take appropriate listing or account action. We do not act as a court, arbitrator, insurer, or guarantor of an independent vendor’s performance.
4 Requests to reconsider a content decision
If you believe we made a content decision in error, email info@theweddingplanningco.com with the subject ‘Content decision review,’ the original report or decision reference, and the reasons and evidence supporting reconsideration. We will arrange an appropriate review and communicate the outcome where we can lawfully do so. We may maintain an interim restriction while the matter is reviewed. Legal deadlines and the specific DMCA or EU procedures below take precedence where applicable.
Use the DMCA counter-notice procedure only when you can truthfully make its legal statements. It is not a general appeal form for every editorial, contractual, privacy, or safety decision.
5 Designated DMCA agent and contact details
Our designated agent for DMCA notices and counter-notices is Georgia Gravanis Smith, The Wedding Planning Corporation.
Postal address: 16192 Coastal Hwy, Lewes, Delaware 19958, United States.
Telephone: +1 (305) 546-1527.
Email: info@theweddingplanningco.com.
Identify the message as a ‘Copyright infringement notice.’ A physical or electronic signature is accepted; notarization is not required by this Policy.
US Copyright Office designated-agent registration: DMCA-1082138, effective 6 October 2026. The designation lists TWPC, The Wedding Planning Co. and theweddingplanningco.com as alternate names for The Wedding Planning Corporation. The registration can be checked through the US Copyright Office DMCA Designated Agent Directory.
TWPC manages copyright reports in-house through the designated agent above. We accept copyright reports whether or not they meet every formal requirement below and assess them promptly. The procedures below explain the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act, including 17 U.S.C. § 512, where applicable. Their application and any statutory protection depend on the particular service, material, facts, and legal requirements. This Policy does not assert that all TWPC editorial content or activities qualify for a statutory safe harbor, and it does not replace the rights permissions required for content we publish ourselves.
6 What a DMCA notice must contain
A written DMCA notice must contain substantially all of the following information:
(1) The physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right allegedly infringed.
(2) Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered, a representative list of those works at that site.
(3) Identification of the material claimed to infringe, or to be the subject of infringing activity, that is to be removed or disabled, together with information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it. Provide exact URLs and identify the relevant image, video, text, or link.
(4) Information reasonably sufficient to contact you, such as your address, telephone number, and an email address, if available.
(5) A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the challenged use, in the manner complained of, is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
(6) A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right allegedly infringed.
Consider applicable permissions and legal exceptions, including fair use, before submitting a notice. A copyright registration number, court order, or attorney representation is not an additional condition imposed by this Policy. Where required, we will reasonably assist in obtaining a substantially compliant notice if an initial report contains sufficient identification and contact information. An incomplete copyright report may also be reviewed under the general complaints process.
7 Action on copyright notices
Where the applicable DMCA process applies, we will act expeditiously on a substantially compliant notice, including removing or disabling access to the identified material where appropriate. For subscriber material removed pursuant to that process, we will take reasonable steps promptly to notify the subscriber. We may provide the relevant notice and allegations to the contributor or account holder so they can understand and respond to the claim, subject to applicable law.
If you have a particular safety concern about sharing your contact details, raise it before submitting so we can discuss lawful options, such as an authorized representative. We cannot promise that information in a legal notice will remain confidential. A rights dispute concerning TWPC’s own authored or selected editorial material may require a different legal analysis; a valid complaint will still be reviewed.
8 DMCA counter notices
If material you supplied was removed or disabled under the DMCA and you have a good-faith belief that this resulted from mistake or misidentification, you may send our designated DMCA agent a written counter-notice containing substantially the following:
(1) Your physical or electronic signature.
(2) Identification of the material removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal or disabling.
(3) A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification.
(4) Your name, address, and telephone number; a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district where your address is located, or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which TWPC’s legal operator may be found; and a statement that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice or that person’s agent.
A counter-notice may result in legal proceedings and disclosure of your information to the original complainant. Submit one only if you can truthfully make these statements. You may wish to obtain independent legal advice.
9 Counter notice processing and possible restoration
When the restoration procedure in 17 U.S.C. § 512(g) applies, upon receipt of a substantially compliant counter-notice we will promptly provide a copy to the original notifying party and inform that party that the material will be restored in 10 business days. We will restore the material or cease disabling access no sooner than 10 and no later than 14 business days after receipt of the counter-notice unless our designated DMCA agent first receives notice that the original notifying party has filed an action seeking a court order restraining the subscriber from infringing activity relating to that material.
That statutory procedure concerns material removed on the relevant copyright basis. It does not require us to publish a rejected editorial submission or to disregard a separate, valid contractual, privacy, safety, or other legal basis for restricting material. If we maintain a restriction on a separate basis, we will identify that basis to the affected person where legally required. The statutory period runs from our receipt of the counter-notice, not from the original takedown notice.
10 Repeat infringement and misuse of notices
We maintain a policy providing for termination, in appropriate circumstances, of subscribers and account holders who are repeat copyright infringers. In applying the policy, we consider reliable information about infringement, notices, counter-notices, retractions, court decisions, and other relevant circumstances. We may restrict uploading, remove content, suspend access, or terminate an account as appropriate and in accordance with applicable law. We do not promise a fixed number of warnings before action. For vendor accounts, this policy also forms part of our Vendor Subscription Terms (Section 13).
Do not knowingly make a materially false claim of infringement or a materially false claim that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), certain knowing material misrepresentations can expose the maker to liability for resulting damages, costs, and attorneys’ fees. We may address abusive, fraudulent, or manifestly unfounded reports proportionately, while preserving applicable statutory complaint rights and required notices or review procedures.
11 EU illegal content notices where the Digital Services Act applies
To the extent TWPC provides an intermediary or hosting service subject to Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, the Digital Services Act (DSA), you may notify us electronically at info@theweddingplanningco.com of specific content you believe is illegal under EU or applicable Member State law. Use the subject ‘EU illegal-content notice.’ A report should include: a sufficiently detailed explanation of why the content is alleged to be illegal; its exact URL or other precise electronic location; your name and email address; and a statement confirming your good-faith belief that the information and allegations are accurate and complete. Where applicable law permits an exception to identification requirements, including notices concerning offenses specified in Articles 3–7 of Directive 2011/93/EU, that exception applies.
Where Article 16 applies and electronic contact details are supplied, we will acknowledge receipt without undue delay, review the notice in a timely, diligent, objective, and nonarbitrary manner, and notify you of our decision and available redress. We will disclose the use of automated means in processing or deciding the notice where required. Where Article 17 requires it, affected recipients will receive a clear, specific statement of reasons for relevant content or account restrictions, including the material facts, the legal or contractual ground, the scope of the restriction, and applicable redress.
12 EU review rights and other remedies
Where Article 20 of the DSA applies to the relevant TWPC service and decision, an affected recipient or notifier may challenge a covered moderation decision electronically and free of charge by contacting info@theweddingplanningco.com, identifying the decision and explaining the challenge. The complaint mechanism will remain available for at least six months after notification of the decision. Review will be timely, nondiscriminatory, diligent, and nonarbitrary, under appropriately qualified human supervision and not solely on automated grounds. We will communicate the reasoned outcome and reverse an unsupported decision without undue delay where required.
Where available under applicable law, you may also use a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body, complain to the Digital Services Coordinator of the Member State where you are located or established, and seek judicial redress. These rights are not made conditional on waiving other remedies. Particular DSA duties and exemptions depend on the service, jurisdiction, and provider’s legally assessed status; this conditional section does not expand or restrict statutory applicability.
13 Intimate images shared without consent
If an intimate photo or video of you has been published on TWPC without your consent, you or an authorized representative can request removal by emailing info@theweddingplanningco.com. This includes qualifying digitally created or altered depictions, sometimes called deepfakes. You do not need an account, a paid subscription, copyright ownership, or a court order to make this request. Use the subject ‘Urgent intimate-image removal’ to help us route it promptly; that wording is not a condition of a valid request.
Include: (1) your physical or electronic signature, or that of your authorized representative; (2) identification of the image or video and enough information for us to find it, such as its exact URL; (3) a brief statement of your good-faith belief that the image or video was published without your consent, with any relevant information supporting that statement; and (4) contact information allowing us to respond to you or your representative. Do not resend the image itself where a location and description will suffice.
Where TWPC and the request fall within the TAKE IT DOWN Act, we will remove the reported depiction as soon as possible and no later than 48 hours after receiving a valid request, and within that period make reasonable efforts to identify and remove known identical copies. This is measured in hours, including weekends and holidays, and is separate from the DMCA counter-notice process. We will handle other privacy and safety reports under the relevant sections of this Policy and applicable law.
We will limit disclosure of sensitive report information to what is necessary and lawful for handling the report, protecting individuals, and complying with legal duties. If a covered platform fails to provide or follow the legally required process, reports may be made to the Federal Trade Commission at https://takeitdown.ftc.gov/. Nothing in this section prevents contacting law enforcement or exercising other legal rights.
14 Personal information and policy changes
We process complaint information to evaluate and respond to reports, contact affected parties, comply with legal duties, protect rights and safety, and establish or defend legal claims, as described in our Privacy Policy. Information may be shared with affected parties, advisers, service providers, courts, or authorities where necessary and lawful. We retain complaint and decision records according to applicable duties and the retention criteria in our Privacy Policy.
We may update this Policy to reflect our procedures or applicable law. The effective date appears above. Changes do not remove a statutory remedy, shorten a mandatory deadline, or retroactively validate an unlawful action.
