Effective date: 1 November 2026
For vendors with a membership in place before 1 November 2026, the changes made on that date apply from 18 November 2026.
These Vendor Subscription Terms govern paid vendor profiles and related directory subscription services supplied by The Wedding Planning Corporation ("TWPC," "we," "us," or "our"). They form part of the agreement between TWPC and the business purchasing a subscription ("Vendor," "you," or "your"). Please retain a copy of these Terms and your order confirmation.
1 Scope and order of precedence
Your agreement comprises these Terms, the Website Terms and Conditions, and the specific plan, price, billing interval, initial term, renewal term, included features, and other commercial details clearly disclosed and accepted when you place your order (the "Order"). Mandatory law always prevails. Subject to it, a negotiated written agreement signed by both parties controls to the extent of a conflict. Otherwise, the Order governs expressly agreed commercial details, followed by these Terms for subscriptions and the Website Terms and Conditions for general website use. The Privacy Policy explains our handling of personal information and does not constitute consent to unrelated processing.
These subscriptions are intended for businesses and professionals advertising their own wedding-related services. The person enrolling must be at least 18, have legal capacity, and have authority to bind the Vendor. Describing a subscription as a business purchase does not exclude any mandatory protection that applies to the actual transaction.
Wedding submissions are free, involve no checkout or subscription requirement, and are governed by the separate Wedding Submission and Publication Terms. A paid profile does not entitle you to editorial coverage or acceptance of a wedding submission.
2 Directory service independent vendor dealings
TWPC provides an online directory in which approved vendors may display profiles, together with editorial content. TWPC does not provide a vendor booking function, arrange wedding services, negotiate vendor-client contracts, collect wedding deposits or service payments, or act as an escrow service. Subscription charges are payments to TWPC for directory services only.
You remain responsible for your services, customer contracts, quotations, availability, prices, licenses, insurance, taxes, professional obligations, and compliance with applicable law. Any dealings with a reader or prospective client occur independently of TWPC. Neither your subscription nor inclusion in the directory creates an employment, agency, partnership, franchise, or joint venture relationship with TWPC.
A profile is not a certification, guarantee, or independent verification of your business. You may accurately state that you are listed on TWPC while your listing is active; you must not imply that TWPC guarantees, insures, licenses, or otherwise endorses your services.
3 Application profile approval and account responsibility
We may review a proposed profile for relevance to the directory, completeness, authenticity, compliance with our content standards, and reasonably identified legal or safety risks. Approval is not guaranteed. If we reject an initial paid profile before providing the purchased subscription service, we will refund any subscription amount collected for that rejected profile.
Your subscription begins on the start date specified in the Order or order confirmation. Unless a different arrangement was expressly disclosed and accepted before purchase, we will not commence paid subscription time before your account is approved and the purchased profile functionality is made available. Once that functionality is available, a delay caused by your failure to supply compliant profile materials does not extend the subscription period.
You must provide accurate account and billing information, maintain control of your login credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for persons you authorize to use your account. We may require proportionate evidence of identity, authority, or rights in submitted materials. A subscription may not be transferred to another business without our written agreement, which we will consider reasonably.
4 Included services and visibility
Your Order determines the features included in your plan. No particular number of page views, inquiries, clients, bookings, sales, search-engine referrals, or commercial returns is promised. Your subscription does not purchase category exclusivity, a permanent position, or participation in editorial or social content unless the Order expressly states otherwise.
Directory presentation and search results may vary with the visitor's selected category, location, filters, and other disclosed ordering criteria. Our principal ranking criteria and their relative importance are: category and location filters determine which profiles are included, then profiles are ordered by original signup date with the newest first. Where original signup information is unavailable, account-registration or publication dates are used. Ties are resolved using the newer profile record. Subscription billing frequency does not improve this order. This description forms part of these Terms.
If a separately purchased advertising or featured-placement option affects visibility, its effect, duration, and scope will be disclosed before purchase and the resulting promotional placement will be identified where appropriate. A standard subscription does not itself establish a quality ranking. Any preferential treatment for TWPC-owned or affiliated businesses, or for businesses controlled by the same owners, is described here: the main directory applies the same ordering rule to eligible profiles. Home-page features and editorial placements are selected separately; the home page currently features Mrs Smith Weddings, which receives additional visibility through that placement. A standard directory subscription does not purchase that placement.
We may make reasonable design, security, and technical updates. We will not materially reduce a paid plan's core benefits during its current paid term without appropriate notice and an opportunity to end the affected service and receive a proportionate refund for the unused affected period, except where a restriction is justified by your breach or required by law.
5 Charges payment authorization and taxes
The standard TWPC Wedding Professional Membership is USD 9 per month on monthly billing or USD 99 per year on annual billing, paid in advance. Monthly billing is for successive monthly periods; annual billing is for successive 12-month periods. Your selected price, any applicable tax, total charge and renewal interval are displayed before you confirm payment. An expressly accepted promotion or later plan change may provide different terms.
Before you subscribe, the Order will state the amount and currency due, billing frequency, term, applicable taxes or how they are calculated, and whether the subscription renews automatically. An annual plan billed annually means the stated annual amount is charged in advance for the annual term. A comparison expressed as a monthly equivalent does not convert an annual plan into a monthly subscription. No annual commitment billed in installments applies unless expressly stated and separately accepted in the Order.
You authorize the disclosed initial charge and, only where separately agreed, recurring charges for your selected subscription, including applicable taxes. Payments are processed by Airwallex. TWPC is the seller of the directory subscription and remains responsible for providing that service, handling cancellations and arranging refunds. Accepted payment methods are those displayed in checkout. Payment received by Airwallex for a valid subscription charge satisfies your payment obligation for that amount, even if settlement from Airwallex to TWPC is delayed. You are not required by these Terms to become an Airwallex business customer or accept its merchant agreement. You must use a payment method you are entitled to use and keep it current. We receive subscription, transaction and limited payment-method information needed to administer billing, including payment references, status, card brand, last four digits and expiry where supplied; the Privacy Policy explains the applicable processing.
You are responsible for taxes lawfully imposed on your purchase, other than taxes on TWPC's net income. Any bank conversion charges or fees imposed by your payment provider are determined by that provider. We do not add an undisclosed cancellation penalty.
6 Automatic renewal and enrollment confirmation
AUTOMATIC RENEWAL APPLIES ONLY IF CLEARLY DISCLOSED IN YOUR ORDER AND EXPRESSLY ACCEPTED BY YOU. IF ACCEPTED, YOUR SUBSCRIPTION RENEWS FOR THE DISCLOSED RENEWAL PERIOD AT THE DISCLOSED PRICE, PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES, UNTIL YOU CANCEL. YOU MAY TURN OFF AUTOMATIC RENEWAL AT ANY TIME BEFORE THE NEXT RENEWAL CHARGE BY USING Vendor Dashboard — Membership — Cancel Renewal.
We require affirmative acceptance of the subscription agreement and a separate affirmative choice to authorize automatic renewal. Neither a preselected box nor silence constitutes enrollment consent. We will provide a confirmation by email that you can retain, stating the plan, charges, billing interval, renewal terms, cancellation method, and any applicable trial or promotional terms. Billing notices will be sent to your account email, unless another communication method is agreed or required by law. Your order confirmation and Membership dashboard identify the renewal date. We retain records of recurring-payment consent for at least 24 months after the final charge and longer where required by law.
We will send applicable renewal and annual reminders through the required or selected communication channel, including a direct cancellation link where appropriate. Any reminder will identify the service, upcoming or recurring charge, billing frequency, relevant renewal date or cancellation deadline, and how to cancel. Statutory reminder obligations remain applicable even if renewal information also appears in your account.
7 Cancellation and the end of your paid term
You can cancel automatic renewal through Vendor Dashboard — Membership — Cancel Renewal. You may also send a cancellation request to info@theweddingplanningco.com, identifying the business and account email. We will not require a telephone call, sales discussion, explanation, or acceptance of a retention offer to complete an online cancellation. If you cannot access your account, contact us and we will provide a reasonable alternative means of verifying and processing the request.
Cancellation stops future renewal charges. Your published listing and access to paid features continue until the end of the period already paid for, subject to any separate lawful moderation or suspension. After cancelling renewal, you may select Remove Listing Now to hide your listing sooner. This does not forfeit your remaining paid time, restart renewal, or waive refund rights. During the remaining paid term, Show Listing Again restores visibility subject to the usual profile approval and completeness requirements. Cancellation does not create an additional notice-period fee. An identifiable cancellation request received before the next renewal charge will stop that renewal; we will refund a renewal charge processed after timely cancellation. We will provide confirmation of cancellation in a form you can retain.
Deleting profile content or ceasing to use the site does not by itself communicate a cancellation request. If you ask us to close your vendor account, we will treat that request as cancellation of its associated subscriptions as well as a request to close the account. Subscription cancellation and personal-data deletion are distinct requests; our Privacy Policy explains information that may need to be retained after account closure.
At the end of the paid term, the paid profile is taken offline and access to paid features ceases. Cancelling renewal or hiding your listing does not automatically delete your saved profile. You may request account or personal-data removal separately. Independently accepted editorial content is governed by the separate publication permission under which it was supplied. Statutory withdrawal, rescission, refund, and other mandatory rights are unaffected.
8 Trials introductory offers plan changes and price increases
A trial, introductory discount, or other promotion applies only if expressly offered. Before you accept it, we will disclose its duration, any immediate charge, the price and billing interval after it ends, whether it automatically converts to a paid subscription, and how to cancel. We will send legally required advance reminders. An offer does not authorize recurring charges beyond those affirmatively accepted.
A requested upgrade, downgrade, additional profile, or paid add-on will take effect only on the date and pricing terms disclosed and accepted for that change. We will disclose any immediate charge, credit, proration, or revised renewal date before confirming it.
When you change from monthly to annual billing, a new 12-month term starts immediately and the annual charge is reduced by the unused credit shown for your existing paid period. When you change from annual to monthly billing, you keep the remainder of your paid annual term and monthly charges begin only when that term ends. The confirmation screen identifies any immediate charge, credit and revised renewal date before you accept the change.
We will not increase the agreed subscription price during a paid term. For a future renewal price increase, we will give clear advance notice identifying the new price, effective date, and cancellation method, and obtain your affirmative agreement before charging the increased amount. If you do not agree, we may allow the subscription to expire at the end of the paid term, after notifying you, instead of charging the increased price.
Our normal advance-notice period for a renewal price increase is at least 30 days. Where applicable law specifies a particular notice window, delivery method, additional reminder, or longer period, we will provide notices meeting those requirements, including an additional notice within any prescribed maximum window. A notice of price change does not replace any separate consent or refund right required by law.
9 Refunds and billing issues
Except as expressly provided in these Terms, your Order, or applicable law, charges for an agreed subscription period are nonrefundable merely because you cancel renewal, do not use the service, receive fewer inquiries than expected, or remove your profile early. This policy does not exclude refunds for duplicate or unauthorized charges, charges after timely cancellation, a rejected initial profile, material failure by TWPC to provide the paid service, or any other legally required refund.
If we permanently discontinue your subscription for our convenience, or end it because TWPC no longer offers the purchased service and you have not materially breached these Terms, we will refund the unused prepaid portion. Any other refund or credit promised in your Order will be honored. TWPC initiates approved refunds through Airwallex to the original payment method wherever possible and in accordance with payment-network rules. If that method cannot receive the refund, we will arrange a lawful alternative consistent with those rules. The time for the credit to appear depends on the payment provider and your bank; we do not guarantee their processing times. A payment provider’s technical refund window does not shorten a statutory right or excuse a refund TWPC legally owes.
Please report a suspected billing error promptly to info@theweddingplanningco.com, with sufficient information to identify the charge. Contacting us is not a condition of exercising a statutory or payment-provider dispute right. You should not knowingly submit false payment disputes, and we may provide relevant records to the payment provider when responding to a dispute.
10 Failed payments
If an authorized payment fails, we may notify you, make reasonable payment retries permitted by your authorization, and request an updated payment method. We may suspend paid functionality after reasonable notice and an opportunity to correct the failure, subject to mandatory law. We will stop attempting recurring charges when the recurring authority is cancelled. Cancellation does not extinguish a separate, lawfully owed charge for service already supplied, but does not authorize further automatic debits.
A suspended profile will not generate a guarantee of service during suspension. We may terminate for an unresolved material payment breach under Section 13. Any legally recoverable amount already due remains payable, but we do not accelerate unagreed future renewal periods or impose a charge merely for exercising a cancellation right.
11 Profile content permissions and prohibited practices
You must keep your profile materially accurate and promptly correct outdated service, location, pricing, availability, or contact information. You must not misrepresent qualifications, awards, insurance, affiliations, testimonials, or ownership of work. Any customer testimonials you supply must be genuine, used with necessary permission, and accompanied by disclosures required for incentives or other material connections.
You retain ownership of your original profile content. You grant TWPC a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, resize, crop, display, and distribute the content to operate your listing and promote that listing or the TWPC directory through TWPC-controlled websites, newsletters, and social channels. The license includes use by service providers acting for TWPC for these purposes. It does not transfer your copyright or authorize selling your original files as standalone assets.
You warrant that you own or hold sufficient licenses and permissions for all text, logos, photographs, videos, music, trademarks, and other materials you provide, including authorization for the uses described above and necessary permissions and releases relating to identifiable people. You further warrant that your profile content, and TWPC's use of it within the license above, will not infringe or misappropriate any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other right of any person; is not defamatory; and is accurate and not misleading. Possessing an image, having commissioned it, appearing in it, or crediting its creator does not necessarily grant publication rights. We may request evidence and restrict disputed material while reviewing a credible complaint.
You must keep written records of the licenses, permissions, and releases on which you rely, including photographer and other creator licenses and model or property releases where required, for as long as the material appears on TWPC and for at least three years after its removal. Within 5 business days after our written request, you must provide copies or other reasonable evidence of those permissions. We may remove or disable access to the material immediately where a complaint or risk reasonably justifies it, or if the requested evidence is not provided within that period, until satisfactory evidence is received. Removing or restricting particular material under this Section is not a reduction of your plan's core benefits and does not by itself entitle you to a refund, unless the removal resulted from TWPC's error.
The profile-content license ends when your subscription ends or the relevant material is removed from your profile, whichever occurs first, subject to a reasonable removal period of up to 30 days for existing TWPC-controlled promotional uses unless law requires faster action. We will not initiate new promotional uses of that material during the removal period. Limited copies may remain in restricted backups, security records, and legally required archives in accordance with the Privacy Policy. We cannot guarantee removal from independent third-party caches or reposts, but will take reasonable steps within our control. A separate license given for an editorial submission is governed by its own terms.
You must not upload unlawful or infringing content, impersonate another business, manipulate directory visibility through deceptive means, publish malicious code, scrape protected data without authorization, or use account access to send unlawful unsolicited communications.
12 Vendor data and access
The profile materials and business contact details approved for publication are publicly accessible and may be indexed by search engines. TWPC and its authorized providers process account, payment-status, profile, and service-use information to supply, secure, and administer the subscription as described in the Privacy Policy.
Your available account access and reporting are: your Vendor Dashboard provides profile management, account settings, current membership and renewal information, payment-method management, billing history and available invoice downloads. It does not promise visitor-level analytics or a bulk data-export facility. A subscription does not grant access to another vendor's nonpublic account information or to identifiable visitor-level information unless that access is expressly disclosed and lawfully enabled. TWPC does not receive the details of a couple's off-platform booking merely because that couple viewed a profile.
The data we share with third parties beyond providers needed to operate the service, and any choice to opt out, are described in the Privacy Policy. After termination, access to the account or its reports may end; you may request a copy of your own supplied profile materials and available billing records within 30 days, subject to lawful retention, identity verification, and technical availability. Any mandatory access, portability, or disclosure right remains unaffected.
13 Restriction suspension termination and review
We may restrict particular content, suspend a feature, or terminate a subscription on reasonable grounds, including material payment default, materially misleading information, infringement, unlawful conduct, a substantiated safety or security risk, repeated or serious violations of these Terms, or a legal obligation. Where appropriate, we will use a proportionate measure and provide an opportunity to correct a remediable breach.
In accordance with the repeat-infringement policy in our Copyright and Content Complaints Policy, we will, in appropriate circumstances, terminate the subscriptions and accounts of vendors who are repeat infringers. We may also suspend or terminate a subscription where you repeatedly supply material that is the subject of credible rights, privacy, or defamation complaints, or you do not provide permission evidence requested under Section 11. Termination for these reasons is termination for your breach, not for our convenience, and the refund for termination for our convenience in Section 9 does not apply unless applicable law requires a refund.
We will ordinarily provide the account contact with the reasons and scope of an adverse action, its effective date, and available review process. Notice may be limited or delayed where lawful and reasonably necessary to avoid compromising an investigation, exposing confidential information, facilitating abuse, or violating a legal restriction. We will comply with any applicable duty to provide a detailed statement of reasons or a particular advance-notice period.
For termination for our convenience, we will ordinarily give at least 30 days' written notice and the refund described in Section 9. Immediate or shorter-notice action is reserved for circumstances permitted by applicable law, including urgent risks or serious breaches that justify it. We will not retain an unearned payment merely because we choose to discontinue a compliant vendor's profile.
You may request review of a profile restriction, suspension, or termination by contacting info@theweddingplanningco.com, identifying the account, decision, relevant facts, and requested outcome. We will assess the request fairly and communicate our determination. The Copyright and Content Complaints Policy provides separate procedures for content reports. Nothing prevents you from using a regulator, court, or other remedy available under applicable law.
14 Additional protections for qualifying European business users
Where Regulation (EU) 2019/1150 applies to the relationship, we will administer these Terms in accordance with its mandatory requirements. Before restricting or suspending an individual listing, we will provide the required statement of reasons on a durable medium before or when the action takes effect. For termination of the whole service, we will provide the required statement at least 30 days in advance unless a statutory exception applies. We will provide an opportunity to clarify the relevant facts and circumstances and reinstate access without undue delay where a decision is reversed.
Changes to these Terms affecting a qualifying business user will be notified on a durable medium at least 15 days before taking effect, or for a longer reasonable and proportionate period when technical or commercial adaptation requires it. The qualifying business user may terminate before the changes take effect, with termination effective within 15 days after receiving the notice or sooner where required. The notice exceptions for legal obligations and unforeseen imminent cybersecurity risks apply only to the extent permitted by that Regulation. We will not retroactively change these Terms except where legally permitted.
Any mandatory internal complaint-handling, mediation, digital-services statement-of-reasons, or redress obligations that apply to TWPC remain available notwithstanding other terms. Details of applicable complaint channels and appointed mediators, if required, will be published in our Copyright and Content Complaints Policy or the accompanying business-user notice.
15 Responsibility and general provisions
The Website Terms and Conditions contain the generally applicable provisions on intellectual property, service availability, disclaimers, liability, dispute handling, and governing law. Those provisions apply to subscriptions subject to the specific service, cancellation, refund, and mandatory-law protections in these Terms. They do not excuse our obligation to provide a paid service with the care and skill required by applicable law.
Any indemnity owed in connection with a subscription is governed exclusively by the business-user indemnity in Section 12 of the Website Terms and Conditions, including its limits, exclusions, notice, defense, settlement, and mitigation provisions. It applies only to users acting in the course of business and does not apply to a consumer acting outside a business. These Vendor Subscription Terms do not create a separate or cumulative indemnity, and TWPC may not recover the same loss twice.
We may update these Terms prospectively after appropriate notice. Material changes will be communicated to the account contact before taking effect with the opportunity to cancel and any additional consent or refund protection required by law. A material adverse change to a paid term will not deprive you of already-purchased core benefits without the remedy described in Section 4. These Terms do not waive nonexcludable rights under any applicable United States state or federal law, European law, or other mandatory local law.
